During the Chime Zone Time Period  that the  us er s ets,  the 
keypad c an emit an  intermittent beep whenev er  a  zone w ith the 
Chim e  feature enabled closes  (s ee

Chim e  Zone Time Period and  this option is enabled, the  Chime 
Zones  will alway s beep upon closure.

Potential troubles have been sorted into groups . With these 
options  enabled, the  keypad will emit an  intermittent beep tone 
whenever a trouble c ondition  from the Trouble Groups occ urs  in 
the sys tem.  The  intermittent beep will remain  ac tivated until the 
us er enters the 

Trouble Dis play

 or if the trouble is resolved. For a 

list of the troubles, see  the 

D igiplex  or DigiplexN E Reference  and 

Installation Manual

. The intermittent  beep will be  re-initializ ed 

whenever the trouble c ondition  re-occurs.
