The REM2 and RAC2 (RAC2 includes integrated access card) are
water-resistant 5-button remote controls that provide the user with the
status of their system by pressing the [ i ] button. The remote controls
provide both auditory and visual feedback in an attractive streamlined
style. To activate the remotes’ backlight, press any button once.
The feedback provided for the user is separated into two categories:
security feedback and accessory feedback. Security feedback deals
with actions concerning arming and disarming, system in alarm, and
panic alarms. Accessories feedback deals with actions concerning the
FM tuner and PGMs. The REM2 and RAC2 are available in a 433MHz
or 868MHz version. The 868MHz version is not UL approved.

Battery
One 3V lithium battery (2032). Battery life expectancy is a minimum of
2 years.
How to Replace the Battery
1. Remove the screw from the back of the remote control and carefully
remove the back cover.
2. Use a non-metallic tool to push the battery out from under the battery
plate (see Figure 1). Avoid using metal as it may cause a short in the
board.
3. With the positive side of the battery facing up, insert the new battery.
4. Set the back cover in place, and fasten it with the screw.
Danger of explosion exists if the lithium battery is incorrectly
replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type
recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used
batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Access Card Number (RAC2 only)
The card number for the built-in access card is printed on the back of
the remote control.

controles remoto de 5 botones resistentes al agua, que informan al
usuario sobre el estado del sistema al pulsar el botón [ i ]. Los controles
remoto proveen información de manera visual y audible y vienen en un
atractivo diseño aerodinámico. Para activar la luz del fondo de los
controles remoto, pulsar una vez cualquier botón.
La información brindada al usuario puede ser dividida en dos
categorías: información sobre la seguridad e información sobre los
accesorios. La información sobre la seguridad tiene que ver con el

Batería
Una batería de litio de 3V (2032). La esperanza de vida de la batería es

Cómo Cambiar la Batería
1. Retirar el tornillo de la parte trasera del control remoto y retirar con
cuidado la cubierta trasera.
2. Emplear una herramienta no metálica,para sacar la batería de
debajo de la placa de batería (ver la Figura 1). Evitar el uso de
objetos de metal pues podrían causar un corto en la placa.
3. Insertar la nueva batería con el lado positivo mirando hacia arriba.
4. Reponer la cubierta trasera en su lugar y reajustarla con el tornillo.
Hay peligro de explosión si la batería de litio es cambiada
incorrectamente. Remplazar solo con baterías del mismo
tipo o un equivalente recomendado por el fabricante.
Deshágase de las baterías usadas siguiendo las
instrucciones del fabricante.
Número de serie de Tarjeta de Acceso (sólo RAC2)
El número de la tarjeta de acceso integrada esta impreso en la parte

La REM2 et la RAC2 (La RAC2 inclue une carte-clé intégrée) sont des
télécommandes à 5 boutons résistantes à l'eau qui permettent à
l'utilisateur de connaître l'état de son système en appuyant simplement
sur le bouton [ i ]. En plus d'avoir une forme profilée attrayante, les
télécommandes offrent une rétroaction sonore et visuelle. Pour activer
le rétro éclairage des télécommandes, appuyer une fois sur n'importe
quel bouton.
La rétroaction conçue pour l'utilisateur est divisée en deux catégories :
la rétroaction pour les fonctions de sécurité et la rétroaction pour les
fonctions accessoires. La rétroaction pour les fonctions de sécurité
donne suite aux actions concernant l'armement et le désarmement du
