failure for the identified slot.

from the slot.
2. Remove, then reinstall the
APM.
3. Contact your service
representative.

An Out of Frame (OOF)
condition is detected for the
identified slot and port.

condition occurs when any two
of five consecutive frame
synchronizing bits received
from the remote unit are
incorrect. This condition clears
when a reframe occurs.
1. Cabling problem.
2. T1 facility problem.

configured for EDL.

An Excessive Error Rate
(EER) condition is detected for
the identified slot and port.

absent on the local loop for
more than two consecutive
seconds.

OCU-DP interface. This
condition indicates that the
far-end DSU is disconnected
or powered-off.
