Description
ifSpeed
( ifEntry 5 )
Provides the current
bandwidth for the interface in
bits per second.
Interfaces:
T1 interfaces – 1,544,000 bps.
COM port – Configured data rate for
the port.
Data ports – Configured data rate for
the port.
Voice ports – 64,000 bps.
FDL – When the network interface
framing is ESF, the FDL interface
rate is always 4 Kbps. When framing
is D4, the data rate is defined as
zero.
DDL – Data rate = 64,000 bps when
DDL is enabled. Data rate = 0 when
DDL is disabled.
EDLs – When the data port and EDL
is enabled, whether for management
or statistics gathering for a particular
port and that port is allocated as
described under the data ports
above, the EDL interface rate is
4 Kbps. If EDL is disabled, or the
port is unallocated (cross
connected), the data rate is zero.
ifAdminStatus
( ifEntry 7 )
Enables or disables the
interface. It is supported for
all interfaces, but COM port
and Network1 T1 only
support up(1). DDL is
read-only.
For the DSX-1 T1 interface,
synchronous data and voice
ports, EDLs and FDL, the
object is used to enable or
disable the interface.
up(1) – Enables the interface.
down(2) – Disables the interface.
NOTE:
Disabling a T1 interface,
voice port, or data port will
also deallocate the
corresponding cross
connections.
