Displaying Port Assignments
Use the Port Assignments Display screen to display port assignment information
for each voice and data port on the NAM and APMs.
Use the following menu sequence to display port assignment information.

The following information is available for viewing.

Slot
Slot number.
Type
Type of NAM or APM occupying the slot. Possible
values are:
T1 NAM – T1 NAM.
Sync Data – 4-port synchronous data APM.
DSX-1 – 2-port DSX APM.
E&M Voice – 8-port E&M APM.
FXO Voice – 8-port FXO Voice APM.
FXS Voice – 8-port FXS Voice APM.
OCU (2) – 2-port OCU-DP APM.
OCU (6) – 6-port OCU-DP APM.
Empty – The slot is empty.
Misconfig – The slot contains a misconfigured APM.
Unsupport – The slot contains an unrecognized APM.
Failed – The slot contained an APM that has been
removed or is no longer operational.
Assignment
Port assignment. Possible values are:
Blank – slot is empty or port does not exist on the NAM
or the APM.
Disable – The port is disabled.
Unassgn – The port is unassigned.
Net
n – The port is assigned to the Network Interface 1
or 2.
DSX
ss-p – The port is assigned to the DSX-1 interface
in slot
ss (always 01), port p on a clear channel time
slot. Ports cannot be cross-connected to the DSX APM.
S
ssPp – The port-to-port assignment of the slot (ss)
and sync data port (
p) shown in this field.
