System Error Messages
These messages, listed in alphabetical order, appear in the messages area at the
bottom of the screens (see Table 9-2).

Invalid Character (

An invalid character has been
entered.
Reenter information using
valid characters.
Invalid – Already
Active
Test was already in progress
when it was selected.
No action needed.
Invalid Password
Login is required and an
incorrect password was
entered; access is denied.
1. Try again.
2. Contact your system
administrator to verify your
password.
Invalid Test
Combination
A conflicting loopback or
pattern test was in progress
when Start was selected to
start another test, or was
active on the same or another
interface when Start was
selected.
1. Wait until other test ends
and message clears.
2. Stop the test from the same
screen the test was started
from.
3. Cancel all tests from the
Test screen ( Path:
main/ test ).
Limit of six Login IDs
reached
An attempt to enter a new
login ID exceeds the six
login/password combinations
limit.
1. Delete another
login/password
combination.
2. Reenter the new login ID.
Minimum Mode
Appears if the T1 access unit
fails the memory test during a
power-up self-test.
Use FTP to download
software again. Call your
service representative.
No Security Records
to Delete
Delete was selected from the
Administer Login screen, and
no security records exist.
1. No action needed.
2. Enter a security record.
Password Matching
Error – Re-enter
Password
Password entered in the
Reenter Password field of the
Administer Logins screen
does not match what was
entered in the Password field.
1. Try again.
2. Contact your system
administrator to verify your
password.
