The Profile Definition screen appears showing the default parameters and settings for the
specified profile definition. For the terminal or PC channel port, the settings on your screen
should match those shown below:

6. If a parameter on your Profile Definition screen does not match those shown above, enter
the option (parameter) number.
PRESS: Enter
The screen for that parameter appears.
7. TYPE: the number of the correct parameter
PRESS: Enter
8. When all of the parameters are correct, save the options.
PRESS: S
PRESS: Enter
The system returns to the Channel Parameters menu.
9. Go to Assigning a Profile to a Channel Port.
Assigning a Profile to a Channel Port
To assign a profile to a 719 NETWORKER channel port,
1. Note which NETWORKER channel port the terminal or PC you are working on is
connected to. Assign the profile to this channel.
2. From the Configuration menu,
TYPE: 1
PRESS: Enter
The Channel Parameters menu appears.
