DSL Ports and POTS Splitter Connectors

The 50-pin RJ21X Telco connector labeled DSL Ports 1–24 provides the 2-wire 
loop interface from each DSL port to the demarcation point. (The Canadian 
designation for this connector is CA21A.) The connector is labeled POTS 1–24. 

Table A-1

 lists the pin assignments for each of these interfaces. Note that Pins 25 

and 50 are not

 

used.
