Packages
The required Solaris packages are listed in
Table 3–2
.
Adding a
Package
To add a Solaris package, follow these steps:
Step 1
Access the Solaris software cd that contains the OS packages using
the cd command.
Step 2
List the packages present on that directory by using the ls
command.
Step 3
Add the needed packages from the Solaris cd, for example,
# pkgadd -d.SUNWarc,SUNWbtool
For every package being added, the system warns that it is going
to use its superuser privilege to add the files and prompts for
confirmation.
