4 MAINTENANCE
This chapter describes the maintenance steps the domestic user must carry out on the
PARI SOLE N. A leaflet dealing with the particular requirements in hospitals and doc-
tors' practices is included with the device ("Maintenance in hospitals and doctors' prac-
tices"). If this leaflet is lost, you can request another one from PARI GmbH [See also:
7.4 Contact].
4.1 Cleaning
Preparing for cleaning
Clean the PARI SOLE N and the accessories used immediately after every application.
Disinfect the nebuliser at least once a day.
WARNING
Liquids can conduct electricity, thereby posing a
risk of electric shock
. Therefore,
always switch the base unit off and disconnect the power plug from the socket before
cleaning the appliance.
• Pull the nebuliser upwards to detach it from the
base unit.
• Detach the accessories used (mouthpiece,
nasal joining piece, mask,
PARI TRACHEO SET) from the nebuliser.
• Turn the middle section (1b) of the nebuliser
counter clockwise until the two blue marks on
the edges form a line.
• Pull the middle section of the nebuliser up and
off the lower section of the nebuliser (1c).
• Remove the nozzle funnel (1d) from the neb-
uliser lower section.
• Remove the upper section of the nebuliser (1a)
upwards out of the middle section of the neb-
uliser.
