CCC Certified motors
The CCC EX motors are verified and certified according to CNCA-C23-01: 2019 China
Compulsory Certification Implementation Rule on Explosion Protected Electrical Product
and CNEX-C2301-2019 Guideline of China Compulsory Certification Implementation Rule
on Explosion Protected Electrical Product. The reference standard are : GB3836.1-2010;
GB3836.2-2010; GB12476.1-2013; GB12476.5-2013.
CCC: "CCC" motors have exactly
the same construction as
IECEx motors (with the
exception of a specific nameplate).
They are intended for use in the same areas (gas or
dust) and have the same degree of safety.
Refer to standards GB3836.1-2010,
GB3836.2-2010, GB12476.1-2013, GB12476.5-2013, the CNCA-C23-01: 2019 and the
CNEX-C2301-2019 for detailed informations.
The
CCC EX have a specific name plate
that bears only the CCC certification. All the EX
with a CCC certificate have a C at the end of the part number to differentiate them to the
“IECEx” EX motors
DANGER: All the instructions for the IECEx motors shall be applied to
CCC motors in addition to the local regulation, the standards GB3836.1-
2010; GB3836.2-2010; GB12476.1-2013; GB12476.5-2013, the CNCA-
C23-01: 2019 and the CNEX-C2301-2019
The CCC Ex motors are marked with the following:
Ex d IIB T4 Gb IP64 (Gas)
Ex d IIB T4 Gb, Ex tD A21 IP65 T135°C (Gas and Dust)

Ex d IIB T4 Gb IP64
for gas

Ex: indicates that the electrical equipment corresponds to one or more
of the types of protection which are the subject of the specific standards

"d": flameproof enclosure,

IIB for electrical equipment for places with an explosive gas atmosphere
(Ethylene type) other than mines susceptible to firedamp.

T4: Temperature class 4 (135°C)
•
Gb: Level of protection
•
IP65 : Ingress Protection Level 64
Ex tD A21 IP65 T135°C
for dust
•
Ex: indicates that the electrical equipment corresponds to one or more
