HMR Series Positioners
The outer band must have contact with the entire profile length without any ripples or bubbles to achieve IP rating. If bubbling occurs, loosen
clamping plates and remove carriage end caps. Press down on the outer band under the carriage top plating using a shim and tighten clamping
plate

Insert
side scrapers
into the grooves on the carriage
-
lips should face outward.
•
Wrap black
cord
around carriage and tie. Cord to be trimmed at the end of outer band install.
•
Place
support clamps
in cover holders with cushion tape facing upwards and towards the carriage.
•
With Carriage at center of table, lay across and center
outer band
.
•
Lightly grease the bottom of the carriage
top cover
and slide into grooves of the carriage. Install carriage
end caps.
•
Fasten
clamping plate
, do not torque yet.
•
Slide carriage to drive end. Loosen clamping plate to allow outer band to seat itself. Tighten and torque clamping plate per torque specs in
chart 7.1. Move carriage to non driven end and repeat.
