6.1.1.
Power Control input connections
You must be aware of the following when connecting the power control digital
input:
▪
The power control digital input is usually connected to the vehicle ignition,
but it can be connected to any power source in a system.
▪
To protect the harness that connects the PVSG-IQAN to the ignition, it is
recommended to place a fuse of 200 mA or higher in the circuit that feeds the
unit.
▪
If your PVSG-IQAN must always be powered, the power control digital input
can be directly connected to a fused battery power input (called VBATT),
which will provide constant power.
▪
When battery power (VBATT) is connected, and the power control digital
input is inactive, the PVSG-IQAN will deactivate.
