8.1.1. CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
Obstruction of the air filter will cause engine problems. Check
and clean it regularly. If you observe damage or changes,
replace it with a new filter.
1. Open the filter cover.
2. Remove the filter.
3. You can clean the outside of the filter by banging it
against a hard surface.
4. Clean the air filter with lukewarm water and mild soap.
5. Rinse the filter well with clean water.
6. Let the filter dry.
7. When the filter is dry, moisten it with two drops of oil (If you
moisten it too much, the machine may not start.)
8. Reinstall the filter.
9. Replace the cover.
Note: The engine will not work without the air filter installed.
