Regardless of the outcome proceed to step
At this stage the choke must be OPEN.
Move the choke lever into the downward position.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE STARTING GUIDE CAREFULLY! - STARTING THE ENGINE
Pull the recoil starter continually until the engine starts.
Allow the engine to idle for 2 to 3 minutes before use.

PULL RECOIL STARTER
OPEN CHOKE
Perform a 'Cold Start' when the engine is cold.
Move the choke lever into the upward position.
The engine switch is spring loaded. The default
position of the switch is the ‘ON’ position.
Prime the fuel system by repeatedly pressing the
fuel primer bubble at least 10 times or until the
bubble is full of fuel.
ONLY PRIME BEFORE A COLD START.
PRIME THE CARBURETTOR
STARTING THE ENGINE - PLEASE FOLLOW THE STARTING GUIDE CAREFULLY!
• Do not pull the recoil more than twice with the choke in the closed position it will flood the engine!
• To perform the flooded engine proceedure turn to page before attempting to start the machine again.
• Only operate the blower after ensuring the exhaust is functioning properly.
• Never operate the blower unless it is properly assembled and in good working condition.
• Only perform a cold start when the engine is cold / the machine has not been used recently.

Pull the recoil starter firmly TWICE ONLY!
