Attaching/disconnecting the battery
pack to/from the appliance
Inserting the battery pack:
♦
Allow the battery pack to click into the
handle.
Removing the battery pack:
♦
Press the release button and remove the
battery pack .
Checking the battery charge level:
♦
Press the battery charge level button to
check the battery charge level.
The status/remaining charge will be shown on
the battery display LED as follows:
♦
RED/ORANGE/GREEN = maximum charge
RED/ORANGE = medium charge
RED = low charge – charge the battery
Operating the cordless air
pump PALP 16 A1
This appliance is not designed for continuous
operation. The appliance may be used for a maxi-
mum of 20 minutes of continuous operation. If the
appliance overheats, remove the battery pack .
Allow the appliance to cool down completely and
then try using it again.
Inflation
♦
Remove the valve cap of the item you want to
inflate.
♦
Fit the appropriate adapter , or onto
the pump air outlet .
♦
Push the adapter , or into the valve of
the item to be inflated.
♦
Switch the appliance on by pressing the ON/
OFF switch .
♦
Once the desired level of inflation has been
reached, switch off the appliance by releasing
the ON/OFF switch .
♦
Now remove the adapter , or .
♦
Replace the valve cap on the item that you have
inflated.
Deflation
♦
Fit the appropriate adapter , or onto
the pump air inlet .
♦
Remove the valve cap of the item you want to
deflate and push the adapter , or into
the valve of the item to be deflated.
♦
Switch the appliance on by pressing and holding
the ON/OFF switch .
♦
Once the item is fully deflated, switch off the ap-
pliance by releasing the ON/OFF switch .
♦
Now remove the adapter , or .
Adapters
Adapter :
For standard valves with an internal diameter of
8 mm.
Adapter :
For inflatable items with a screw valve. Deflation
is only possible with an unscrewed valve and with
this adapter.
Adapter :
For inflatable items with a deflation valve.
NOTE
►
The LED working light is lit when the ON/
OFF switch is lightly or fully depressed.
This allows illumination of the working area
while inflating in low light conditions.
