Connecting the dust ex-
traction
There are three options for connecting the
permitted dust and shavings extraction.
Depending on the diameter of the hose
for the dust and shavings extraction, select
one of the following options:
• Connecting the dust and shavings
extraction directly
1. Connect the dust and shavings
extraction directly to the shavings
ejector (17).
• Connecting the dust and shavings
extraction to the adapter (20)
1 Place the dust extraction adapter
(20) on the shavings ejector (17).
2. Connect the dust and shavings ex-
traction to the adapter (20).
• Connecting the dust and shavings
extraction to the adapter (20) and
reducer (20a)
1. Place the dust extraction adapter
(20) on the shavings ejector (17).
2 Place the reducer (20a) on the dust
extraction adapter (20).
3. Connect the dust and shavings ex-
traction to the adapter (20).
When working with materials that
produce dangerous dust, connect
the device to an appropriate, tested
dust class M suction device.
Mounting the parallel
stop
1. Loosen the butterfly screw for the pa
-
rallel stop holder (12) and insert the
parallel stop (11) in the parallel stop
holder (10).
2. Set the desired cutting width using the
scale on the parallel stop and the reces-
ses on the bottom side of the baseplate
(see also Fig. D). The left recess on the
bottom of the baseplate is for cutting
angle setting 0°. The right recess on the
bottom of the baseplate is for cutting
angle setting 45°.
3. Retighten the butterfly screw for the par
-
allel stop holder (12).
Overload warning
• If the device is in danger of being da-
maged, the overload warning indicator
(
19) lights up briefly. The device
turns off.
Adjusting the cutting
angle
You can set the cutting angle using the cut-
ting angle scale (14).
1. Loosen the butterfly screw of the cutting
angle preselection (13).
2. Set the desired angle on the cutting
angle scale (14) based on the referen-
ce mark (29).
3. Retighten the butterfly screw (13).
Adjusting the cutting
depth
Set the cutting depth approx. 3 mm
larger than the material thickness.
This achieves a clean cut.
1. Loosen the retaining screw (6) and set
the desired cutting depth on the cutting
depth scale (5) based on the reference
mark (28).
2. Retighten the retaining screw (6).
