• Press the On/Off switch, the state of
charge of the battery is displayed by
turning on the 3 coloured LED lights:
red-yellow-green
=>
Battery fully
charged
red and yellow
=>
Battery appr. half charged
red
=>
Battery is empty, please
charge.
Set the direction of
rotation
You can select the direction of rotation with
the direction switch (clockwise and anti
-
clockwise direction) and secure the device
against accidental start up.
1. Wait for the device to shut-down.
2.
Clockwise direction:
Press
direction switch (8) to the right.
3.
Anticlockwise direction:
Press
direction switch (8) to the left.
4.
Switch lock:
Bring direction
switch to neutral position.
Direction switch may only be acti-
vated at a standstill to prevent dam-
age to the transmission.
Inserting/replacing bits
Prior to commencing any work
on the device, bring the direction
switch (8) to the neutral position in
order to prevent an accidental start
up.
1. Insert the desired bit (14) or bit holder
(15) into the bit adapter (1).
2. To remove the bit or bit holder pull the
bit or bit holder out of the bit adapter.
Handle setting
Prior to commencing any work
on the device, bring the direction
switch (8) to the neutral position in
order to prevent an accidental start
up.
The device can be locked in two hand
settings:
- Pistol grip position
- Rod position
Press the release key PRESS (2) and turn
the handle (6) of the device by 180°. It
locks into place audibly.
Use as a torch
1. Press the on/off switch (5) on the un
-
derside of the handle (6). The torch
lights up.
2. To switch off, press the on/off switch (5)
again.
Interchangeable
attachments
You can remove the cap (16) in order to
use compatible interchangeable attach-
ments for Series PAS 4 B2/B3 cordless
screwdrivers.
Grip one of the two recesses on the cap
and remove the cap.
Please consult the instruction manual sup-
plied with the exchange attachments for
assembly and disassembly of the exchange
attachments.
