Use
NOTE
►
Always switch the hand grinder on before
applying it to the workpiece .
Switching the appliance on:
♦
Press the safety lock-out on the side with the
symbol to unlock the ON/OFF switch .
♦
Press the ON/OFF switch .
Switching the appliance off:

Release the ON/OFF switch .
♦
Press the safety lock-out on the side with
the symbol to lock the ON/OFF switch .
2-speed gearbox
CAUTION!

Operate the speed selector switch only
when the appliance is at a standstill . Other-
wise the appliance can be damaged .
In first gear (speed selector switch

position: 1)
you can reach a speed of approx . 2800 rpm .
In second gear (speed selector switch
in
position: 2)
you can reach a speed of approx . 8300 rpm .
Grinding

of wood and metal can be harmful to health .

Wear safety goggles and a protective dust

NOTE
►
Make sure that a suitable sandpaper is
correctly fitted on the polishing disc .

Switch the appliance on .
♦
Guide the appliance across the workpiece
parallel to its surface .
♦
Move the unit parallel and evenly over the
surface to be sanded .
♦
Do not press the appliance down . Pressing
down hard does not improve the performance .
♦
When you are satisfied with the result, turn off
the appliance .
Polishing
♦
Add a little polish to the fitted polishing attach-
ment , and the workpiece .

Polishing hood (orange) for pre-polishing

Polishing hood (black) for final polishing
–
Fake fur attachment for high-gloss polishing
♦
Manually spread the polish over the surface
you want to polish .
NOTE
►
Do not apply the polish to the same surface
too often as the particles it contains could
damage the finish .
►
Mask any plastic components beforehand as
these could be faded by the polish .
♦
Switch the appliance on .
♦
Guide the appliance across the workpiece
parallel to its surface .
♦
Move the appliance parallel and evenly over
the surface being polished .
♦
Do not press the appliance down . Pressing
down hard does not improve the performance .
♦
When you are satisfied with the result, turn off
the appliance .
ATTENTION!
►
Depending on the size and nature of the
workpiece, suitable safety precautions must
be taken . Use suitable clamps to prevent the
workpiece from slipping .
