carry out corresponding noise reduction measures
relative to the workpiece construction and work-
place conditions, e.g. by placing the workpiece
on a noise-dampening underlay, by clamping or
covering the workpiece to reduce the vibration, or by
setting the correct working pressure. In special cases,
personal protective equipment should be worn.

The value is a tool-speciﬁc indicator and does not
represent the eﬀect on the hand-arm system while
using the tool. The eﬀect on the hand-arm system
when you are using the tool depends on factors
such as the gripping force, the applied pressure,
the working direction, the set air pressure, the
workpiece, and the workpiece rest.
