.
•
NOTICE!
Use clamps or anoth-
er practical way to secure and
support the workpiece to a
stable platform.
Holding the work-
piece by your hand or against the
body leaves it unstable and may lead
to loss of control.
Procedure (Fig. F)
1. Place the tool close to the workpiece.
2. The vertical centre mark (28) shows
the centre of the milling.
The maximum width of the milling is in-
dicated by the two cutter width marks
(29).
The horizontal centre marking (30) on
the base plate (9) helps to position the
height. The horizontal centre mark (30)
indicates the centre of the disc cutter.
Check the markings (28/29/30) and
make sure that the vertical centre mark-
ing (28) is aligned with the marking
line.
3. Now switch on the tool and push the
drive motor (7) forward against the
workpiece.
Connecting the workpieces
Criteria
• After a groove has been made on the
two workpieces, they can be joined.
Procedure (Fig. G)
1. Apply some glue in the grooves.
2. Insert flat dowels (32) into the corres-
ponding grooves.
3. Push both workpieces together.
4. Clamp the workpieces and wait until
the adhesive has hardened.
