9) RESIDUAL RISKS
Even if properly operating and
handling this electric tool, some
residual risks will remain. Due to its
construction and build, this electric
tool may present the following haz-
ards:
a) Cuts
b) Ear damage if working without
ear protection.
c) Damage to your health caused
by swinging your hands and
arms when operating the appli-
ance for longer periods of time
or if the unit is not held or main-
tained properly.
Warning! During operation,
this electric tool generates an
electromagnetic field which,
under certain circumstances,
may impair the functionality
of active or passive medical
implants. To reduce the risk of
serious or lethal injuries, we
recommend that persons with
medical implants consult their
doctor and the manufacturer
of their medical implant be-
fore operating the machine.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL
SAWS, SAWING METHOD
a)
DANGER! Do not put your
hands in the cutting area
or on the saw blade.
If you hold
the saw with both hands, they
cannot be injured by the saw
blade.
b) Do not reach underneath the
workpiece.
The protective hood
cannot protect you from the saw
blade under the workpiece.
c) Adjust the cutting depth to the
thickness of the workpiece.
Less
than one full tooth height should
be visible below the workpiece.
d) Never hold the workpiece you
want to saw in your hands
or over your leg. Secure the
workpiece in a sturdy support.
It is important to fasten the
workpiece securely to minimise
the risk of physical contact, the
saw blade jamming and loss of
control.
e) Hold the electric tool by the
insulated gripping surfaces
when performing work in which
the cutting tool may come into
contact with hidden wiring.
Contact with a live wire also
causes a charge in metal parts
of the electric tool and results in
an electric shock.
f) When performing longitudinal
cuts, always use a stop or
