Assembly
Only insert the battery once
the battery-operated tool is
fully ready for use.
Attaching/removing the
protective cover
Attaching the protective cover
1. Press the two holders on the protective
cover (11) into the recesses on the ap
-
pliance housing. The protective cover
(11) locks into place.
You can fold the fitted protective
cover (11) up by 90°.
Removing the protective cover
2. Carefully press the two holders on the
protective cover (11) apart.
3. Pull the protective cover (11) to the front.
Removing/inserting the
rechargeable battery
1. To remove the battery (21) from the
device, press the release button (20) on
the battery and pull the battery (21) out.
2. To insert the battery (21), push the bat
-
tery (21) along the guide rail into the
device. You will hear it click into place.
Only insert the battery once
the battery-operated tool is
fully ready for use.
Checking the
charge status of the
rechargeable battery
The state of charge display (22) indicates
the state of charge of the battery (21) by
illuminating the corresponding LED(s). To
see this, press the soft button next to the
battery charge level indicator (22).
