Operation
Switch off the device and re-
move the battery before car-
rying out any maintenance
work.
Ensure that the ambient tem-
perature does not exceed
50 °C or fall below -20 °C
during work.
Switching on and off
The rotary wheel (1) on the device head has
7 levels for achieving the desired speed.
Step
1: lowest speed
Step
6: highest speed
Step A: automatically increasing speed
depending on load.
1. Ensure that the battery (21) is inserted.
Switching on:
2 Press the release button (2.2) to unlock
the device.
. The two LED work lights begin to light
up.
3. Press the on/off switch (2.1) to start the
device.
The device will only start within
the period when the two LED work
lights are illuminated.
Switching off:
4. Press the On/Off switch (2.1) to turn off
the device.
Press the release button (2.2) to prevent
the device from inadvertently switching
on again.
As soon as the LED working lights have
gone out, the device is automatically
locked.
The device cannot be turned on
when locked. Before using the
device, make sure the device is un-
locked.
Adjusting the mitre
angle
1. Open the lever (24).
2. Press the baseplate (5) slightly forward.
3. Set the baseplate to the desired posi
-
tion. A total of 5 levels can be set: 0°,
as well as 22.5° and 45° in both direc-
tions.
The baseplate must be pulled slightly
backward and engage with a notch.
4. Close the lever (24) again to fix the
position.

be set on both sides if the protec
-
tive cover (
11) is folded up and
the tension tear protection (
14)
is disassembled (see “Attaching/
removing the protective cover”).
Adjusting the stroke
strength
The pendulum movement of the saw blade
can be adjusted with the pendulum stroke
switch (4). There are 4 positions for the
pendulum stroke switch (4):
0 - no stroke: e.g. for non-ferrous metal
1 - low stroke: for soft material e. g. for
plastic pipes
2 - medium stroke: e.g. for curved cuts in
thin wood
3 - high stroke: e.g. for thick wood
