Design and operation of the device 

4.7.1  Design 

4.7.1.1 

Appearance of the device is shown on fig. 1. The device is 

in insulated case made of impact resistant plastic. It is portable and placed in 

a soft bag with a belt, used for storage of accessories as well. The case con-

sists of: an upper cover (1) and a base (2), connected with four screws, and 

two sides, front (3) and back (4) ones. On the back side there is a cover for 

placing of autonomous power-supply battery. On the front panel (3) there is a 

power switch (5), display lighting button (6), double terminal (7) for connec-

tion of phase (A) voltage signal or Uref, single terminal (8) for connection of 

phase  (B)  voltage  signal,  double  terminal  (9)  for  connection  of  phase  (C) 

voltage  signal  or  Um,  jack  (10) for  connection  of  a clamp Iref,  jack  (11)  for 

connection of a clamp Im, display (12). The jack for connection of the supply 

line of 220 V is situated on a side of the base (13).
