OPERATION ORDER
6.1
Location of tuning and switching control
6.1.1 The device does not have any switchers of operation mode and
measurement ranges. All switching is made automatically in accordance with esti-
mation of the signals received. To start the device switch the power. In 3 seconds
serial number appear on display:
−
in the upper line: device serial number;
−
in the lower line to the right: measuring clamp serial number;
−
in the lower line to the left: reference clamp serial number (if avail-
able).

6.2
Measurement order
6.2.1 Measurement of effective value of alternating current
strength and its frequency
6.2.1.1
To measure the effective value of alternating current and its
frequency join the measuring clamp to connector, named “I measuring” (see
fig. 4), embrace lead wire by the clamp, make sure that the clamp is fixed
tightly. Read the display indication. The measured effective value of alternat-
ing current strength is situated in the right lower part of display and has the
dimension of current (mA or A), frequency value is in the same line to the left
(Hz).

6.2.2 Measurement of effective value of alternating voltage and
its frequency
6.2.2.1
To measure the effective value of alternating voltage and
its frequency apply alternating voltage to terminals, named Um (see fig. 5),
read display indication. The measured voltage value is placed in the right
upper part of the display and has a dimension of voltage (V), frequency value
is in the same line to the left (Hz).

6.2.3 Measurement of direct voltage
6.2.3.1
To measure direct voltage, apply it to terminals, named Um
(see fig. 6) in accordance with indicated polarity. If the voltage of opposite
polarity is applied the device will not give any indication (-OV on display):
6.2.3.2
One should check the correctness of direct voltage connec-
tion. To change polarity, if necessary. Type of current is indicated by a sym-
bol before the senior position of voltage value.

6.2.4 Measurement of active and reactive power
6.2.4.1
If both alternating voltage (Umeasuring) and current
(Imeasuring) are applied to the device, phase shift and values of active and
reactive power in researched circuit are determined automatically (see fig. 7).
Indication is made in the left upper part and left lower part of display accord-
ingly.
6.2.4.2
Dimensions and signs of powers are also shown. Phase
shift value is not displayed in this mode. The figure demonstrates device indi-
cation and corresponding real rate of vectors of voltage and current:
