HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Important Safety Information – Read the following warning before you or your child play with
the AR.Drone 2.0. Failing to do so may cause injury.
The AR.Drone 2.0 is a model aircraft designed only for recreation, entertainment, and competitions
between model aircraft (*). The pilot must directly control the flight path of his or her AR.Drone 2.0 at
all times in order to avoid any obstacles, and must take care only to use it in suitable locations
chosen to ensure that people, animals and property remain safe at all times.
(*) The AR.Drone 2.0 falls under category A of French regulation. The user alone is liable for any use
which is contrary to law, in particular use for non-recreational purposes.
Seizure warning
Some people (about 1 in 4000) may have seizures or blackouts triggered by light flashes or

patterns, such as while watching TV or playing video games, even if they have never had a
seizure before;
Anyone who has had a seizure, loss of awareness, or other symptom linked to an epileptic
•
condition should consult a doctor before playing a video game.
Parents should watch when their children play video games. Stop playing and consult a
•
doctor if you or your child have any of the following symptoms: convulsions, eye or muscle
twitching, loss of awareness, altered vision, involuntary movements, disorientation.
To reduce the likehood of a seizure when playing video games:

Sit or stand as far from the screen as possible.

Play video games on the smallest available television screen.

Do not play if you are tired or need to sleep.

Play in a well-lit room (indoor) or area (outdoor).

Take an 10 to 15 minute break every hour.
