Adjusting the room compensation level

The room compensation level can also be defined using the web interface. Refer to the

section for more information.
Depending on the material of your walls or on the presence of furniture, the acoustic environment of
the Zikmu can be either absorptive (like in a recording studio) or reflective (like in a church or a
bathroom). This is called room compensation or damping.
If your Zikmu is located in a rather reflective room, define the
compensation level as
Undamped
.
If your Zikmu is located in a rather absorptive room, define the
compensation level as
Damped
.
Note :
The default setting is suitable in most cases.
