Taking a Quick Sample
—Software Version 2.0
The following information is a simplified and brief instruction for setting up sample
parameters and taking a sample.

Press the ON key
to start the Lasair II particle counter.

Press the top softkey
on the right side of the instrument to move to the
Sampling Setup Screen.

Press the Enter key
below the screen to enable the Edit Mode.
You can now change or keep the current sampling setup values.

Press the Tab Right softkey
once to move to the Sample Size box.
Take a 1:00 minute (or a 1.0 cubic foot) sample as follows

Press the Right key
to move the cursor to the position of the sample duration
setting field to be changed.

Use the Up
and Down
keys to set the example to 00:01:00.

Press the Green ON key
to start the sample.
The pump will automatically turn ON, and the screen will switch to the Main
display Screen. The Lasair II particle counter will automatically take the sample
and print the results.
Congratulations! You have successfully taken a Lasair II particle counter
sample!
