Smooth Shank
- For general construction, carpentry and
framing: the most popular and versatile.
Ring Shank
- The ring shank provides improved withdrawal
resistance for applications where the resistance from smooth
shank fasteners is not adequate: floor decking, crating,
pallets.
Hardened Steel
- For attaching wooden plates to green
concrete foundations; 2X furring strips to cinder block.
Hot Dipped Galvanized
- These nails should be used
where higher corrosion resistance is required to retard rust
and rust staining. Recommended for use in natural wood
siding, such as cedar, redwood, cypress and preservative
treated lumber. (Not for use in all-weather wood foundations.)
Hot Dipped Galvanized Plus -
These nails are hot dipped
with a baked on polymer coating. They offer the highest
corosion resistance of any galvanized nail.
The Paslode Cordless Framing Nailer is not recommended for use with 3"
Ring Shank nails in pressure treated lumber
.
