OPERATION
1. Connection to the power supply, cabling and socket design
The device is suitable for alternating current according to the information given on the rating plate. Make sure
that the voltage (V) and the frequency (Hz) of the device are the same as those for the mains supply connection
as described on the type plate and the technical data.
2. Cutting depth
The depth of the cut can be adjusted by means of the adjusting screw. Loosen the screw and slide the depth
limiter until the rear end of the carriage matches the desired depth indication on the scale.
After adjustment, tighten the clamping lever again. When cutting wood, for best results, the cutting depth should
be set slightly lower than the thickness of the material.
3. Marking of the cuts
When working with the device, to avoid ugly over-cutting, it makes sense to know exactly where a cut should
begin and end. Index numbers that match the depth limiter settings can be found on both sides of the protective
cover. They show the exact beginning point and end point of the cut.
a.
Draw on the work piece the cuts you wish to make. If the shape you want to cut is not a rectangle or
square, please draw at the end of the cuts guides that intersect the cuts at right angles.
b.
First set the cutting depth , for example to 9 mm.
c.
Place the starting notch on the base plate at the beginning of your cut line.
d.
Cut along the cut line to the end notch of the base plate.
4. Base plate
You can saw at an angle by adjusting the angle of the base plate. The base plate must always be held firmly
against the work piece in order to reduce vibration, saw blade jump or blade breakage.
