The solar panel charges most efficiently in full sun. Avoid placing the lantern where it will be shaded for much of the
day. Overcast conditions, shorter sun exposure time, or shade will decrease the maximum charge and result in a shorter
illumination time. This is normal behavior for a solar-powered item and does not reflect a charging issue.
You can expect about 350 charging cycles out of the included battery, after which it should be replaced with a comparable
rechargeable 3.2V 145000 Li-ion battery. Extreme temperatures may affect the lifespan of the battery; you may wish to store
the battery or the lantern indoors when out of use. Please recycle used batteries wherever possible.

Once turned on, the lantern’s illumination output will change in response to ambient light levels, turning itself off during full daylight.
ILLUMINATION
The bistro table features an integrated light source embedded in the center
of the table surface. To access the battery housing, make sure the switch
on the side of the table is turned to OFF (“I”), then turn the table over on a
soft surface such as a towel or carpet. Locate the tab holding the housing
closed and remove the round panel in the center of the underside of
tabletop.
The table requires three AA batteries inserted with alternating polarity as
shown in the diagram above. Please replace only with new or fully charged
rechargeable batteries. Avoid mixing battery brands, or old and new
disposable batteries, or partially-charged and fully-charged rechargeable
batteries. Replace battery cover door after changing batteries.
Although the table can withstand incidental dampness such as beverage
condensation, the battery housing is not weatherproof. To extend the
functionality of the illumination feature, your table should be covered or
stored when not in use.
