Information on the drill bits and tools
The machine is designed for using replacement drill bits with cylindrical shaft, with diameter from 0,8 to
10 mm and is equipped with a quick-release chuck. Included is a magnetic adapter for replacement
screwdriver bits together with 6 pcs of screwdriver bits with ¼” (6,35 mm) hex shank Always use a drill
suitable for the material being worked.
Warning! Risk of injury! When replacing the drill bit, wear protective gloves. The drill
bit may become hot during use.
Drill bit or tool clamping
The machine has a self-locking spindle which enables to open and close the chuck using one hand. Make
sure the rotation switch (5) is in the middle position (lock) before clamping/releasing the bits or tools.
• Open the quick-release chuck (1) by turning it counter-clockwise. The jaws will dilate.
• Insert the drill bit into the jaws of the chuck and tighten the chuck evenly around the drill bit by
turning it clockwise. Fully tighten and make sure the drill bit is centered.
• For screwdriving, clamp the magnetic adapter into the chuck. This will allow simple changing of the
screwdriver bits.
Note:
Before drilling, make a short test to see if the drill bit is centered and straight. Do not use bent or
damaged drill bits and discard them.
