SAFETY RULES AND PRECAUTIONS
Applicable safety precautions must be observed. Just as with all other power tools, this
brush cutter must be handled carefully by the operator. DO NOT EXPOSE YOURSELF OR
OTHERS TO ANY RISKS. Observe these general rules. Do not allow others to use this
brush cutter unless they are capable of doing so, have read and understood the Operating
Instructions and been trained in its operation. Never allow children to play with the brush
cutter.
Always wear protective goggles or a protective face shield to protect your eyes, and ear
protectors to protect your hearing. Wear proper clothing. Do not wear loose clothes or
jewellery, which could be caught by the moving parts of the machine. Wear solid safety
footwear with non-slip soles. Long hair must be tied back. It is recommended to suitably
cover your legs and feet to protect them from thrown objects during operation.
Use anti-vibration gloves.
Keep the anti-vibration system in good condition. An unbalanced cutting blade or string
head will cause premature wearing, which prolongs cutting time and increases the level
of vibrations transmitted to your hands. A brush cutter with loose parts or damaged
silent-blocks can also exhibit higher levels of vibrations. Even if all the above-mentioned
precautions are observed, you are not guaranteed full protection against white finger
disease or carpal tunnel syndrome. Therefore, regular users must closely monitor the
condition of their hands and fingers. If you experience any of the above-mentioned
symptoms, seek medical assistance immediately.
Inspect the brush cutter for loose parts (nuts, bolts, screws, etc.) and any other damage.
Before using the brush cutter, have it repaired or the damaged parts replaced as
necessary. DO NOT USE any attachments on this brush cutter except those
recommended by the manufacturer. Failure to observe this requirement may result in
