Never use another cutting head than that delivered by the manufacturer with the brush cutter
(Use of steel strings is not allowed). Always use genuine spare parts to avoid voiding the
guarantee.
FUEL/OIL MIXTURE
Never fill the fuel tank up to the very top.Never refuel the tank in enclosed and
unventilated rooms.Never refuel the tank near to open flames or sources of
sparks.Always wipe up all spilled fuel before starting the engine.Do not perform
refuelling when the engine is hot.
GASOLINE
A mixture of unleaded gasoline and approved engine oil for two-stroke engines is used for this
brush cutter model. Use branded unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 89 or higher.
Always use clean and fresh unleaded gasoline. You will thus avoid possible damage to the fuel
lines and other engine components.
Caution:
For the mixture, never use a fuel with an ethanol percentage higher than 10 %; gasohol (mixture
of gasoline and ethanol) up to 10 % ethanol or E10 fuel are acceptable.
FUEL MIXTURE RATIO IS 40:1
GASOLINE - 40 PARTS OIL - 1 PART
A fuel mixture with a ratio other than 40:1 can result in damage to the engine. Make sure you
always use a fuel mixture with the correct gasoline/oil ratio.
IMPORTANT:
Two-stroke fuel may separate. Fuel stabilizer recommended. Before use, shake
the fuel in the container thoroughly. Stored fuel ages. Do not mix more fuel than you are able to
use use during the planned work. Do not use fuel which has been stored longer than two
months. A fuel mixture stored longer than this can cause poor starting and performance of the
engine. Fuel which has been stored longer than two months must be replaced with a fresh fuel
mixture.
Inspect fuel tank making sure that it is clean and fill with fresh fuel.
FUEL STORAGE
Buy only as much fuel as you are able to use. Do not buy more fuel than you are able to use in
one or two months.
Store fuel only in a clean, hermetically sealed and safe container approved for storing this type
of fuel. Familiarise yourself with national regulations on storage and containers for this type of
fuel and observe them.
Store fuel in a cool, dry and well-ventilated room. Do not store it in places where dry leaves,
straw, paper, etc., are present.
