1) Release throttle interlock and throttle
trigger to return to idle before shutting off
engine.
2) Set ignition switch to “O” position to shut
off engine.
4
ADJUST CUTTING ANGLE (Fig.17)
1) The angle of cutting angle can be
adjusted in 3 positions according to the
performed work.
2) To depress the lock pin and rotate the
lower shaft either to the right or left side
until the pin locks in position.
5
CUTTING
WARNING! To avoid hazards
never cut vegetation with a thickness of
more than 20mm! Avoid contact with
stones, metal materials, glass and so
on! Inspect the blade regularly for
damages, cracks or breaks! Never use a
damaged blade!
WARNING! When working with
the cutting blade there is always a risk
of kickback if the cutting means come
into contact with hard objects! A
kickback will cause sudden stalling of
the cutting means which in turn causes
the uncontrolled petrol brush cutter and
grass trimmer to be forced in the
direction opposite of the cutting means’
rotation at the point of the binding!
Therefore keep handles clean and free
from greasy substances, and pay
attention to firm stand to avoid injuries!
1) Use the cutting blade and guard to cut
weeds, brush, small trees and similar
vegetation with a thickness of up to 20mm.
2) Never hold the unit higher than your hip.
Work cautiously. The higher you hold the
unit the bigger is the risk of thrown objects
or clippings.(Fig.18)
3) Plunge the blade from above when
cutting rank growth and undergrowth.
4) Move the blade close over the ground to
cut young trees or grass.
6
TRIMMING
1) Use the trimmer head and trimming
guard to cut small weeds, grass or similar
soft vegetation.
2) Hold the product with sufficient distance
to your body.
3) Pay attention to your posture. Stand
upright, do not lean forward.
4) Hold the trimmer head just above the
ground at an angle of about 30°.(Fig.19)
5) Move the product with slow and regular
horizontal movements from the right to the
left and then lead it back to starting point
before trimming the next row.(Fig.20)
6) Clean the cutting means regularly. Stop
the engine, switch the petrol brush cutter
off and unplug the spark plug connector
before checking.
7) Trim in steps when the grass is very
high. Do not cut the total height in
once.(Fig.21)
7
TIPS
1) For best results, do not cut wet grass
because it tends to stick to the cutting
means and guard, prevents proper
discharge of grass clippings, and could
cause you to slip and fall.
2) Pay special attention when performing
the work close to trees and bushes. The
cutting means can damage sensitive bark,
and damage fence posts.(Fig.22)
