Safety Instructions
WARNING Read all safety warnings,
instructions, illustrations and speci-
fications provided with this tool.
Failure to
follow the warnings and instructions may re-
sult in serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for fu-
ture reference.
Warning:
The lifting of loads is strictly
prohibited!
Warning:
The equipment may only be
used for pulling and displacing loads
horizontally.
Warning!
The equipment and packag-
ing material are not toys. Do not let
children play with plastic bags, foils or small
parts. There is a danger of swallowing or suf-
focating!
1. Keep work area clean and well lit. Clut-
tered or dark areas invite accidents.
2. Do not expose tool to rain or wet condi-
tions.
3. Wear protective clothing which is suit-
able for the particular environment for the
whole time while carrying out your work
and take safety precautions appropriate
for the particular en vironment to prevent
accidents.
4. Wear protective gloves at all times while
working with the equipment.
5. Dress properly. Do not wear loose cloth-
ing or jewellery. Keep your hair, cloth-
ing and gloves away from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can
be caught in moving parts.
6. Fix the hand winch only with screws or
fastening elements that can bear the load.
7. The equipment is only allowed to be
opera ted by persons who have carefully
read and understood these instructions;
the equipment is not allowed to be op-
erated by persons who have not been
given appropriate instruction or who have
health issues.
8. The equipment is only allowed to be oper-
ated by a single person. No other persons
or animals are allo wed to be within the
work area.
9. Only proceed to move a load after ensur-
ing that the load is fixed securely to the
hook and there are no persons in the dan-
ger zone. Ensure, that neither the device
itself, the supporting equipment nor the
load pose a danger to the user himself or
other personnel.
10. Observe the requirements and regula-
tions concerning safety and accident pre-
vention applicable in your country.
11. Never allow children to come anywhere
near the equipment. Never allow children
to operate the product. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the product.
12. Observe every movement of the load and
the equipment while working with it.
13. The weight is not allowed to exceed the
maximum load capacity speci fied by the
manufacturer in the technical data and
on the identification plate of the product.
Exceeding the maximum load capacity
could result in damage to the equipment
and inju ries.
14. Make sure at all times that no body part
such as fingers, e.g., gets into rotating
parts or in contact with parts that are un-
der tension.
15. Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil
and grease.
16. Never grease the ratchet switch.
17. Ensure that the hand winch is checked
once a year by a qualified person.
18. Before starting the work you intend to
carry out, always check the equipment
each time to ensure that all its compo-
nents are in perfect working order. In par-
ticular, check that all screw connections
are secure and that the steel cable and
the load hook are in perfect condition.
19. Never use the equipment if it is defective
or damaged. lf the steel cable has any
fractures or is damaged in any other way,
it must be repla ced. In this case, immedi-

37. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a
tool. Do not use a tool while you are tired
or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
38. The user is liable for all injuries to third
parties and damage to their property.
39. The hand winch must never be left under
load wthout supervision.
40. The hand winch is not meant for lashing
(in car or ship).
41. Always operate the device within an
ambient temperature range of - 10°C to
+ 50°C.
42. Risks of overheating of the braking sys-
tem during prolonged lowering of loads;
43. Do not remove any accessory from cable
winch, such as screw/handle and so on.

while working. Do not apply excessive

21. Never use any electrical devices to oper-
ate the equipment. This equipment is de-
signed for manual operation only.
22. For safety reasons, the change or modi-
fication of the product is not permitted.
23. Never wind the steel cable around an ob-
ject like a loop in order to hang the hook
in the cable. Never run the cable around
corners and ne ver draw it over edges. En-
sure that the lateral deflection at the point
of impact on the drum is no more than 4°
(1:15).
24. Make sure to leave five remaining wind-
ings of wire cable on the pulley under load
at least.
25. Store the equipment only in a dry room.
26. Never use the equipment in an explosive
en vironment or in damp locations.
27. Do not use this equipment for industrial
use.
28. Make sure that there is positive engage-
ment of the load hook to the load.
29. Not for operating on a slope surface! For
horizontal pulling only! Moving of loads on
inclined planes and lifting of loads is not
permitted.
30. Never move the product by dragging it by
the steel cable.
31. Keep the steel cable away from heat. Do
not step or roll over the product or steel
cable.
32. During operation, do not step over the
product or the steel cable.
33. Use both hands when transporting the
product.
34. Ensure that the ratchet switch is always
fully engaged.
35. To rewind the steel cable, keep it under a
slight tension. Never touch the steel cable
without protective gloves.
36. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times. This enables
