Installing an interface cable on the SmartNode device’s FXS and FXO interface ports
The SmartNode comes with at least two FXS analog ports (see
on page 31) located on the back of the
device. Some Models have FXO ports as well, with equal number of ports as for FXS. The FXS interfaces are con-
nected to analog devices via cables (see
) terminated with RJ-11 connectors (see section
page 56), while the same type of cable and pinout is being used to connect a POTS line to the FXO ports of the
SmartNode (see
