Junk Gypsy Wall Hook (Horse Shoe)
Mounting Instructions
Hardware Included:
1 Screw, 1 Anchor
Tools required:
Flat Head Screwdriver
Note: This wall hook is meant for
lightweight items, such as jewelry.
The provided screw includes half fine threads and half wood threads. There is a slot located at the fine
thread side which is sized to engage with a flat head screwdriver.
Mounting Instructions:
1) Use a pencil to mark the wall at the desired mounting location.
2) Unfortunately, the anchor that comes with this item cannot penetrate wood. Therefore, we
have to determine if the mark of Step (1) happens to align with a wood stud. If it does, do not use
the provided anchor. Using a flat head screwdriver, secure the provided screw into the wall and
wood stud. Rotate the screw so that the wood threads penetrate the wall until only fine threads
remain visible. Skip to Step (5).
3) If the mark of Step (1) does not align with a wall stud, we have to install an anchor into the wall.
To do this, position the tip of the anchor against the wall at the mark and then gently push the
anchor into the wall as you rotate it clockwise. The anchor is designed to drive itself into the wall
as it is rotated. Continue rotating the anchor until the wide end becomes even with the surface of
the wall.
4) Using a flat head screwdriver, secure the provided threaded stud into the installed anchor. Rotate
the stud until only fine threads remain visible.
5) Finally, rotate by hand the threaded hole of the wall hook onto the exposed fine threads of the
screw. Rotate the hook clockwise until tight and until the item is oriented upright, as show.
