5.6.6 Modbus TCP/IP

monitors allow access to internal registers via Ethernet and
Modbus TCP/IP Slave. Modbus protocol functions and structure of the registers are
described in points 5.5.6.1 – 5.5.6.3. In order to set up a connection it is necessary to set
a unique IP address for the monitor and to set the connection parameters listed in table 5.

The device address is the address of the device for Modbus TCP / IP. By setting the
address of the monitor to "255" the monitor will skip the analysis of the address in Modbus
frame (broadcast mode).

The implemented protocol is in accordance with the PI-MBUS-300 Rev G of Modicon
Company.
