NCV measurement
With the NCV "Not Connected Voltage" measurement, you can measure inductively whether a
voltage is present on a line. This function is always active in addition to all other measuring
functions as soon as the measuring instrument is switched on. To do this, target the conductor to
be measured with the sensor. The meter will emit an acoustic as well as a visual pulse signal.
The interval changes depending on the intensity.
Via the "V / Alert" key, the intensity is additionally indicated on the display by means of lines.
Press this key again to return to normal measuring mode.
Note:
Even if no voltage is signalled, voltage may still be present on a line. This function can also
issue a warning when measuring current or voltage directly. Motors or flashlights can also be the
reason why something is displayed.

Temperature measurement
In order to carry out a temperature measurement, turn the rotary measuring switch to " ". Now
connect a K-type thermocouple. The current measured value is displayed directly. To select one
of
the
units
degrees
Fahrenheit
or
degrees
Celsius,
press
the
"SEL"
key.
