The allowable adjustment range is +/- 5,0°C or +/- 9,0°F.
1. Plug the thermocouple into the input connector.
2. Place the thermocouple in a known, stable temperature
environment (such as an ice dry well calibrator)
3. Allow the readings to stabilize.
4. In the setup mode (see section 4.3) for display of T1 (P 5135) or
T1 or T2 (P 5140), set the offset by pressing
„▲/HOLD“
or
„MAX/MIN/▼“
Until the primary display corresponds to the
calibration temperature.
4.5 HOLD Mode
Pressing the
„▲/HOLD“
key to enter the Data Hold mode, the
“HOLD” annunciator is displayed. When HOLD mode is selected, the
thermometer held the present readings and stops all further
measurements.
Pressing the
„▲/HOLD“
key again cancels HOLD mode, causing
the thermometer to resume taking measurements.

Pressing the
„Set/☼“
key to turn on the LCD-backlighting Function.
