Security and troubleshooting

•

If the machine for some reason runs badly,

stop immediately by pressing the ”stop” button.

The wheel stops right away.

•

Press the ”start” button without the protective

hood down, the machine does not start and the

display shows Err-5.

•

If the main shaft does not rotate, and the

display shows Err-1, check the motor,

motherboard and cable connections.

•

If the main shaft rotates and the display shows

Err-1, check sensors, motherboard and cable

connections.

•

If the machine does not stop after the

balancing is finished check the braking

resistance, the power supply, motherboard and

cable connections.

•

If the display only shows dashes when you turn

on the power switch, a self-calibration may

need to be performed, an adjustment of

sensors or possible replacement of sensors.

•

If the display shows something abnormal when

the machine is switched off, turn off the power

and count to 10 - switch on the power again - if

is not normal after that please contact us.

Maintenance & care

•

Make sure that the machine always is clean.

•

Before maintenance, always start by pulling out

the plug.

•

Check the belt tension: pull out the plug and

remove the hood. The strap must be able to be

pushed approx. 4 mm downwards in the

middle.

•

Adjust by loosening the engine mounting

screws and adjusting the engine position -

check that the belt does not come loose

laterally.

•

Check that electrical parts are not damaged.

•

Check that the screw on the balance shaft is

not loose, use an Allen key if necessary to

tighten it.

•

If the display does not light up, check the power

indicator light. If not, there is a problem with

the power supply. If it flashes, please check the

power supply in the balancer, computer and

cable connections.

•

Precision problems are not usually caused by

the balancing machine. This is often due to

incorrect wheel installation or incorrect balance

weight, or incorrect weight on the

self-calibration weight. Please save the original

100 gram counterweight in a safe place as it is

necessary for self-calibration.

•

Instability and poor repeatability of data are not

usually caused by the balancing machine. This

is usually due to incorrect wheel installation,

or that the machine is not properly anchored.

Check the machine’s anchor bolts. If the

machine is not connected to a grounded

electrical outlet these problems can

sometimes occur.
