D. Grasp the panel from the exterior and lift the bottom 

off the track and away from the sill. If the panel 
cannot be lifted high enough for the rollers to clear 
the track, adjust the rollers to lower the panel for 
more clearance.

E.  Set panel aside.

Removing The Vent Panel (Continued):

Convert strikes:

Designer 5/2016 - 8/2018 and ProLine model 4 5/2016 - 8/2018, Sliding Patio Doors; the strikes on the frame/joining 
panel must be converted to condensed 2pt lock by removing and adding strike locations to match the replacement 
panel with the included drill template/jig.

A. Remove strikes from current frame/joining panel.

B.  Align the drill template/jig and attach it to the edge of the panel 

by inserting the provided screws through the bottom two holes 
of the template/jig. The screws are aligned with the existing strike 
holes at the bottom of panel edge on Designer Series and aligned 
the lower set of holes with existing jamb holes on Proline Model 
4. Remove the two screws on the edge near the bottom of the 
ProLine door panel and attach the drill template/jig using those 
screw holes.
