3. Cut a length of strimmer wire of 3 metres maximum
(refer to Section 9.3, « Consumables »)
4. Insert the strimmer wire through one of the eyelets
and pass the strimmer wire through the TAP CUT.
Note
To make it easier to insert the strimmer wire through
the eyelets, use both hands to slacken the strimmer
wire. This will make the strimmer wire stiffer and
straighter.
The strimmer wire should be the same length on both
sides of the cutting head.
5. Screw in the middle part so that the wire enters the
cutting head and becomes less and less apparent.
Note
The length of the strimmer wire must be suffi-
cient for the blade on the safety guard to cut it.
Note
After fitting your cutting head on your tool, it is necessary to select it in the HMI to operate the tool. Refer to
Section 5.5.2, « Activation of the cutting head via the HMI menu ».
