Working with the clearing saw
Important
Avoid all contact of the blade with the soil or stones.
• The brush cutter saw can be used for all types of work:
clearing, cutting regrowth, shrubs, woody vegetation,
etc.
• Working with the clearing saw is carried out parallel
to the ground observing the direction of rotation of the
blade to avoid kickback.
• High risk of kickback zone (mark 1)
• Increased risk zone (mark 2)
• Working zone (mark 3)
Work without projections in an urban
environment
• The CITY CUT cutting head is specially designed for
weed control urban environments, in gravel, stabilized
gravel or asphalt.
• Its counter-rotating technology avoids projections, the
upper and lower blades rotating in the opposite direc-
tion to each other.
• According to the user's needs and to optimize his wor-
king comfort, the CITY CUT cutting head is oriented at
28° or 51° depending on the working direction.
• The quick fit assembly of the CITY CUT cutting head
on the Brush cutter Excelion 2 DH takes 20 seconds.
5.7. EMERGENCY RELEASE
The Brush cutter Excelion 2 DH has a quick release system for the tool, making it possible to move away from it
quickly in an emergency.

to fit the quick release system on the
carrying kit (20) supplied with your
tool.
Fitting the quick release system
1. Insert the quick release tab (24) in the slot provided
for this purpose.
2. Slightly move the tab from right to left to check that
it is correctly inserted.
