4.4. FITTING/DISMOUNTING OF THE CUTTING HEADS ON THE BRUSH CUTTER
Caution
Before any intervention on the tool, stop the machine completely and disconnect the battery. To
consult the procedure for switching off your tool, refer to Section 5.1.2, “Stopping the tool”.
Wear safety gloves. Handling of sharp elements.
4.4.1. FITTING/DISMOUNTING THE TRI-BLADE/TWIN-BLADE ON THE TOOL

Fitting the tri-blade/twin-blade on the tool
1. Check that the anti-vegetation protection washer
(18) is present on the angle gear (11).
2. Take the tri-blade/twin-blade out of its packaging
3. Place the following parts in turn on the angle gear
(11):
• the tri-blade / the twin-blade,
• the blade locking washer (pay attention to the di-
rection of insertion),
• the protective bowl,
• the bowl retaining nut.
4. Align the angle gear and its cover in order to match
the holes located on each of the elements.
5. Insert the Torx 25 wrench (22) supplied with your tool
into the hole on the angle gear.
This action will allow the position of the motor shaft
and the support washer to be locked.
