6.3. CLEANING THE TOOL
After each use, clean with water:
Warning
Do not use a high pressure cleaner.
• The safety guard (13).
Note
If necessary remove the safety guard (see Sec-
tion 4.3, “Fitting/ dismounting of the safety guards
• The cutting head (12).
Note
If necessary, remove the cutting head (see Sec-
tion 4.4, “Fitting/dismounting of the cutting heads
• The transmission shaft (14).
Important
After cleaning, allow the tool to dry thoroughly before using it.
After each use, make sure that the holes in the air exhaust screen (1) and the air intake screen (16) are
not blocked.
6.4. CLEANING TAP CUT 2 / TAP CUT 3
The TAP CUT 2 / TAP CUT 3 cutting head may need to
be cleaned after numerous uses.
1. Simultaneously press the two notches on either side
of the TAP CUT 2 / TAP CUT 3.
2. Remove the cover and the central part of the TAP
CUT 2 / TAP CUT 3.
3. Clean the inside of the cutting head to remove any
grass or strimmer wire residue that may prevent the
tool from working properly.
