3. PDF Settings:
If you select the file format as PDF, you can:

Set Password
: Offer a password-lock function to protect confidential documents.
You can check the [
Set Password
] option in the [
PDF Settings
] field and enter a
custom password in the field.

Make Searchable PDF File:
If you wish to make scans searchable, please check the
[
Make Searchable PDF file
] option and select the language of the document. This
will allow the file to be used in full-text-search.

Language
: Please select the language of the document from the language menu.

PDF Quality
: You can also adjust the PDF document quality by moving the sliding
bar.
JPEG Settings
If you set the File Type as JPG, you can adjust the image quality by moving the
sliding bar of the JPEG Settings. The higher quality you set the larger file size will be and
vice versa.
