1. You will need this manual for the safety warnings
and precautions, operating, inspection, mainte-
nance and cleaning procedures, parts list and
assembly diagram. Keep your invoice with this
manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of
the front cover.
2. The warnings, cautions and instructions dis-
cussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all
possible conditions and situations that may occur.
It must be understood by the operator that
common sense and caution are factors which
cannot be built into this product, but must be
supplied by the operator.

Keep this manual and invoice in
a safe and dry place for future reference.
DANGER!
run the generator in an
enclosed garage, cellar, excavation, boat, RV
compartment or any other type of enclosed
structure. Carbon monoxide, an odorless,
colorless, deadly gas may accumulate and cause
serious injury or death. If you start to feel dizzy or
nauseous while using your generator, shut it off
immediately and move to fresh air. Call for help,
you may have carbon monoxide poisoning. Use
in a well-ventilated outdoor area. Allow at
least 4 feet clearance on all sides of the genera-
tor.

not let the generator get wet during operation.
Protect generator from rain, snow, running or
standing water. Do not approach a wet running

outdoor extension cord marked "W-A" or "W".
These extension cords are rated for outdoor use,
and reduce the risk of electric shock.
7. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, and use
common sense when operating a generator.
A
moment of inattention while operating the
generator may result in serious personal injury.

Do not
refuel near open flames , pilot lights, welders,
grinders or sparking electric tools. Allow engine
to cool before refueling. Avoid spills, clean up if
